Orlock Farmland Walk with the National Trust and Ballyboley Dexters
Thurs 22nd Aug at 10am
Join us on a guided walk across the dramatic Orlock coastal farmland with a Ranger from the Strangford and Ards Peninsula team and resident farmers from Ballyboley Dexters.
Learn about nature friendly farming, the challenges involved with this and the methods they use to achieve a balance between farming and caring for nature and wildlife and how we can adapt to climate change.
This walk is moderately difficult and will involve climbing up steep steps, followed by exposed coastal paths and exploration of land not usually open to the public farmland which include land grazed by cattle and beehives.
Bring a snack & drink and dress according for the weather conditions!
