We aren't one for following the crowd - this is our take on a 'Beef Box'.

We believe to sustainably eat meat we should eat a variety of cuts, not just everyone's favourite steak.
​
Our selections contain a variety of cuts including roasts, steaks, mince, steak pieces, steak strips, steak burgers, steak sausages and speciality vegetable roll.
​
Every selection is slightly different depending on the animal and season. We offer more BBQ options in the summer and long slow cook cuts in the winter.
​
We offer 'add ons' to all selections. These include beef cheeks, oxtail, shin, top breast, heart, kidney, liver and bones. We strive to avoid any waste from our fantastic Dexter Cattle.

Selections are priced individually depending on weight and content and are generally between £60-£110. Our prices are very competitive for 100% Pasture Fed Beef and as we sell direct our prices are extremely competitive for certified Pasture For Life and Pedigree Registered Beef. We pride ourselves in offering a very good value product that we are sure you will fall in love with!

ALL OUR PREMIUM SELECTIONS ARE FROZEN FOR VERY IMPORTANT REASONS
ALL FROM THE ONE ANIMAL
All meat in our Premium Selections is from the one animal, this includes our burgers, mince, sausages and vegetable roll.
Some of the cuts have to dry age and some do not.
The fore quarters can be butchered immediately whereas the hind quarters dry age on the bone for around 28 days.
For this reason we choose to sell our meat frozen as it would be impossible to sell our Selections fresh and all the meat to still be from the one animal.
BUTCHERED BY THE EXPERTS
We leave all butchery in the extremely talented hands of our local butchers, Steven and Sam Jordan from Mawhinneys of Newtownards, Co. Down.

We are lucky to have these highly skilled men on our side as their traditional butchery methods allow us to offer many speciality cuts. We work closely along side them to perfect and individualise our products.

Mawhinneys of Newtownards are registered members of the Butchery Excellence Scheme.
THE HIGHEST QUALITY PRODUCT
All meat is vacuum packed or bagged and labelled immediately after butchery and then blast frozen at sub zero temperatures.
​
Blast freezing creates much smaller ice crystals resulting in less water loss when thawing your meat. This prevents our meat from having that mushy texture often present from slow freezing.
​
Blast freezing also preserves the nutrients and flavour of the meat. Unlike chilling or regular freezing this means the meat has minimal time to be exposed to bacteria, ensuring maximum food safety and ultimate freshness.

GUARANTEED FRESHNESS
Our selections are sold and collected by our customers within a few days of us collecting the meat from the Butchers.
Freezing our meat immediately is a conscious decision. We never have meat sitting in a chiller for a few days or freeze it because it hasn't sold.

Our labels comply fully with environmental health directions and include best before dates. This shows transparency and reassurance to customers that our frozen meat is sold at its freshest.
